Our work is making a real difference to the lives of children in one of the world’s poorest countries – but we simply could not do it without your support.

All our funds are raised by individual and corporate donations and through fund-raising events – and all the money we raise goes directly to projects on the ground.

We pride ourselves on not wasting money on unnecessary administration, with the majority of administration costs and responsibilities being covered by trustees, directors and volunteers – just another advantage of giving to a small charity!

Making a donation

There are several ways to support the work of the African Oyster Trust, whether you wish to make a one-off donation or give regularly.

Donate online through CAF

The simplest way to make a donation is through our secure online donation page, operated by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). You can make a one-off donation or arrange regular payments by clicking the Donate Today button above.

Donate directly to the African Oyster Trust

For larger donations and regular payments, we would be particularly grateful if you would consider donating directly to the Trust by bank transfer or standing order. This avoids the processing charges associated with online donation services, allowing more of your donation to go directly towards our projects.

Please download our Donation and Gift Aid form and complete the relevant sections.

The form can be printed and completed by hand or filled in electronically on a computer or tablet using its interactive text fields and tick boxes.

If you wish to make regular donations, you can set up a standing order directly through your own online banking using the Trust’s bank details provided on the form. Alternatively, you can complete the traditional Banker’s Order section for your bank to process.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please also complete the Gift Aid declaration. This enables the Trust to reclaim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you, provided you meet the Gift Aid tax requirements.

Returning your completed form

If you are making a one-off donation or arranging a standing order through your own online banking, you can save your completed Donation and Gift Aid form and email it to us.

Alternatively, you can print the form and return it by post.

Important: Please do not email forms containing your personal bank account details. Ordinary email is not a secure method of transmitting sensitive financial information.
